DEVS UNITED GAMES (formerly known as Miragesoft)

Role : ART DIRECTOR / Head of Art

Real VR Fishing is a VR game first developed on 2019 and currently live on oculus store aka. Meta Quest. It is a relaxing fishing arcade with hyper realistic graphics of real world scenery that provides multiplayer gaming experience. On 2022, RVRF was proudly curated as 1 of 4 VR games demo for the very first Meta Quest Offline stores and also Meta Branding commercial.

As an Art Director leading the Multifunctional Art department of this projects, my main responsibility is diveded by following 2. Ingame Arts and Marketing Arts. Ingame Arts includes all the game assets such as stage environment, creatures, avatars and props . I am also in charge of leading the art technical R&D and outsourcing management, both contract and quality. Here are list of detailed task I was in charge of 

  • Multiple Projects and Artists Management

  • New Fishing Location Research and Production Planning for DLC

  • Game Asset Modeling / Texture / Lighting / Unity / Look Development

  • Color Space Conversion and Overall Improvement for Existed Stage

  • Directing and managing multiple international photographers

  • HyperReal Stage Environment Production and Visual Directing 

  • Water Species research and 3D production Directing 

  • Outsourcing mamangement for 3D, Effects and Sounds 

  • Design and Art directing All the reward items including Avatar outfits 

  • Interior decoration designs for the lobby and aquarium

  • Seasonal event package planning and production (ex. Valentine's, Christmas Lobby and Fish package) 

  • Ingame video production for Main TV UI 

  • Visual R&D Management and Directing for Future Updates

Follwing is the Screenshot of Seasonal Lodge decoration. Seasonal update is the concept that I introduced after the joining the company.

Also I was in charge of avatar outfit production that usually distributes as weekly reward. I designed and directed them with seasonal vibe. Here are some examples of spring seasonal outfit intro banner and user's screencapture using the items.
